I took my buddy Alex shopping to get his first AR-15, a Smith&Wesson OCR. Alex was getting served in the 1911 section. One thing lead to another and my casual browsing turned in to shopping for a new 1911. There were so many wonderful choices it was actually hard to decide. I absolutely fell in love with a Kimber Custom Shop “Super Match”. It was perfection in every way except one, the price. $2000 was just more than I could afford. So the next runner up was a KIMBER Tactical Entry II. Well do I really need to tell you what happened next.
